Hi, I am Courtenay. And I built this because women deserve better.
Better than generic advice. Better than being told their symptoms are normal. Better than healthcare that asks them to fit into a rigid system rather than meeting them where they are.
I am an accredited Exercise Physiologist, the founder of HER Exercise Physiology, and the women’s health lead at Remote Control Exercise Physiology. This is what I have spent my career building — and why.

Accredited Exercise Physiologist
AEP, AES, ESSAM
Every consultation is delivered via telehealth — making specialist women’s health care accessible to anyone in Australia, regardless of postcode
HER Exercise Physiology, Remote Control EP and HER Education — each built to reduce a different barrier to specialist women’s health support
Endometriosis & pelvic pain, PCOS, fertility, pregnancy, postnatal recovery and menopause — each with a deep, condition-specific evidence base.
my story
Women’s health is not a niche. It is the whole thing.
There is a version of healthcare where you leave an appointment with a pamphlet and a vague suggestion to exercise more. Where your symptoms are minimised, your pain is called normal, and the system asks you to be grateful for whatever it offers. I have spent my career building the opposite of that.
Exercise Physiology is a clinical discipline that most people — including many within the health system — do not fully understand. We use precisely prescribed exercise to create adaptation at a cellular level. When your cells have been affected by a condition like PCOS, endometriosis or a life stage change like menopause, the right exercise stimulus changes how those cells function — how they produce energy, regulate inflammation, and respond to hormonal signals.
That is the work. And it requires a clinician who understands it deeply — not a trainer who has done a weekend course in hormones, and not a generic program downloaded from the internet.
I built HER Exercise Physiology because women with complex, specific health needs deserve access to a clinician who is genuinely expert in those conditions. I built Remote Control Exercise Physiology because where you live should never determine the quality of care you can access. And I built HER Education because the next generation of clinicians working in this space deserves better training than the industry has historically offered them.
What drives everything
Core values
These are not aspirational statements on a wall. They are the principles behind every clinical decision, every program design and every interaction — with clients, with other clinicians and with the industry.
We do what is right, every time. Our standards are high and our ethics are non-negotiable. We show up with integrity in every interaction — whether you are reading an email from us at midnight or sitting across from us in a consultation. You place your trust in us and we honour that with evidence-led, professional support rooted in compassion, respect and clinical excellence.
Specialised healthcare should never be out of reach. Our entire model is built around reducing the barriers that keep people from getting the support they deserve. Telehealth consultations, low-cost group programs, home-based rehabilitation and flexible support pathways mean you can access world-class healthcare no matter your postcode, your budget or your starting point. We create accessible healthcare without the loss of human connection.
We exist to create meaningful, measurable change. Not just for the individual in the consultation — but at a systems level. We use technology, design adaptable care models and build pathways that allow people to receive support in a way that feels personal, connected and achievable. Everyone deserves care that meets them where they are — not care that requires them to fit into a rigid system.
Our reach
Where we have reached women so far
Telehealth means geography is no longer a barrier to specialist care. We have worked with women across every state and territory in Australia — from capital cities to regional and remote communities who previously had no access to specialist women’s health exercise support.
How I work
My clinical approach
Clinical excellence and genuine human care are not in conflict. This is what shapes how I work with every client.
Every program I build is grounded in the research evidence for your specific condition. Not trends, not opinion, not what worked for someone else. The evidence base for women’s health exercise is substantial and specific — I know it and I apply it.
The goal is never just to make you feel better on a given day. It is to change how your cells function — how they produce energy, regulate inflammation and respond to hormonal signals. That is where lasting change happens.
A program that does not fit your life will not work. I build around your reality — your schedule, your energy, your capacity, your goals — not a generic framework that assumes everyone has the same circumstances.
Telehealth, group programs and flexible pathways exist because I genuinely believe accessible healthcare does not have to mean lower quality healthcare.
